Driving into the oncoming lane or repeated within one year creation of a traffic hazard leading to an accident – deprivation of driving license for 6 months. If such driving into the oncoming lane causes property damage – deprivation for 9 months. Repeated within one year driving a vehicle without a state registration plate – deprivation of driving license for 1 year or a fine of 20 MCI (monthly calculation index). Use of a counterfeit license plate or deliberate concealment of a license plate – deprivation of driving license for 1 year plus up to 5 days of administrative arrest, or a fine of 40 MCI (if the person is not subject to arrest). Driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or toxic substances, or allowing another person in such condition to drive – deprivation of driving license for 7 years + 15 days of administrative arrest. Repeated offense within one year after serving an administrative sanction – deprivation for 8 years + 20 days of arrest. Refusal to undergo medical examination for alcohol, narcotic, or toxic intoxication – deprivation of driving license for 8 years + 15 days of administrative arrest. Repeated traffic accident within one year or an accident causing minor injury – deprivation of driving license for 9 months or a fine of 40 MCI. Accident causing property damage or minor injury committed under intoxication – deprivation of driving license for 7 years + 20 days of administrative arrest. If repeated within one year – deprivation for 9 years + 25 days of arrest. Leaving the scene of a traffic accident – deprivation of driving license for 1 year or a fine of 50 MCI. Repeated within one year failure to comply with the lawful demand to stop by police, military police, or transport control officers – deprivation of driving license for 1 year or up to 5 days of administrative arrest. Repeated violation of railway crossing rules within one year – deprivation of driving license for 6 months. If property damage is caused – deprivation for 9 months. Once a court decision on deprivation of the right to drive a vehicle has been issued, the driver is not entitled to operate any vehicle until the expiration of the sanction period. Early restoration of the driving license in the Republic of Kazakhstan is not allowed.
